Chinese Diet Tea

When Chinese diet tea is typed into a search engine, many folks may notice those little ads at the right on their screen promoting many products that claim they can make you lose weight...and fast!

The truth is, they can, but not all by themselves. Proper dieting and plenty of exercise are also key factors that determine maximum weight loss results; all these so called diet tea products can do is help.

So how?

Natural properties in tea called polyphenols are what aid in weight loss. What they do is stimulate an action called thermogenesis in the body which causes enzymes to dissolve fatty tissues known as triglyceride. The result means that you naturally burn off more calories.

To be honest, there is no one "Chinese diet tea", but some on the internet are being sold as an authority product...and for an authority price too. Please research these products before spending your money on them, they are not bad products or anything, don't get me wrong, just be aware that most loose leaf brewed teas will offer pretty much the same. All tea comes from the same Camellia sinensis plant, and it's just the special processing that allows some varieties to keep more of their polyphenol properties than others. However, don't expect this difference to be major.

Oolong Tea And Green Tea

Most varieties of these two tea types offer a higher level of polyphenols in them when compared to normal black tea, and can serve as that convenient diet tea that you're looking for. Oolong tea, for example, from what research like Physiologist Dr. William Rumpler's study found shows that this types of tea can actually tell your body to lose weight! Green tea can help you shed those pounds as well. Drinking either green or oolong tea 15 minutes before a meal will help decrease the build up of obese-causing carbohydrates according to a study done at the Suntory Research Center in Japan.

Aside from just weight loss, drinking tea can also help you lead and maintain a healthier lifestyle! Polyphenols aren't the only properties in tea that can benefit you. Powerful antioxidants called catechins are great immune system boosters, and have also shown to help abate the growth of certain tumors in lab mice. More human studies are being done, so the future for tea and its benefits are looking good.

Drinking loose leaf tea for the sole enjoyment of the flavor is also a good reason to make this beverage a daily part of your life as well. There are many varieties of tea to satisfy for years on end!

So while there may not be one Chinese diet tea out there, I hope this article helped give you a better understanding on what some of the hype is all about. Drinking any Chinese tea will aid in your weight loss quest, but don't forget those very important eating habits and exercise!

Always consult your doctor before drinking tea for weight loss!
