Queens China Oolong tea is a loose leaf oolong tea offered by Dragonwater.com. This Chinese tea brews a light and floral tasting cup that has medium depth which goes great with spicy meals, or alone as an afternoon or evening cup.
While I haven't found anything that special about this tea, just a normal light-liquored variety of oolong, it is pretty interesting that it is more on the "flowery" side as opposed to being "woody" as with most Chinese oolongs. The leaves are rolled length-wise and bloom once brewed in steaming water for about 2 to 3 minutes.
The result is a yellowish-brown, almost golden cup that has a sweet aroma resembling Taiwanese oolong characteristics. This tea is pretty fair in my opinion, but as mentioned on the customer reviews page posted on Dragonwater.com…there are better choices.
So while it may be true that this tea isn't the best oolong tea out there, I feel that most folks who favor oolongs in general will enjoy this one and add it to their tea cupboard; it's just nothing to hurry for and buy a bigger size, in fact, start out with a sample size.
