Snapple Iced Tea

Snapple iced tea is my favorite brand of the bottled types of iced tea!

They use black tea in most of their regular iced tea products, and it is of a good quality since you can actually taste the tea despite the sugar, lemon, or other natural flavors that are mixed in.

My favorite of the Snapple products is the original lemon flavored, but I also enjoy “peach”, raspberry", “orangeade”, and “grapeade” fruit flavors too.

Their iced tea has a zesty and tangy taste that is both cool and refreshing. The original glass bottles that the tea is housed in helps maintain full flavor, although these products are also sold in plastic bottles too.

However the best way that I enjoy iced tea is brewed from the whole loose leaves! It does take some time to make, but it is not hard...just like brewing regular tea with a few added steps. By making your iced tea this way, you get full true tea flavor, and greater health benefits!

But does drinking Snapple iced tea help one obtain health benefits?

Drinking Snapple tea does offer some benefits, since all forms of tea have their share of natural antioxidants, but not as many as you can expect from drinking hot loose leaf tea, or even iced tea brewed fresh from the whole loose leaves.

Snapple also offers white and green teas too, which taste great and come in a selection of different fruit flavors. The taste is not too sweet, and is mild and calm, perfect for these delicate tea types.

Folks also enjoy the many fruit drinks Snapple has to offer as well, which ranches from “Mango”, to “Banana”, to “Fruit Punch”.

Did you know that the Snapple iced tea company was founded by three childhood friends that sold homemade fruit juices to local health food stores in the Greenwich Village area of New York?

It started out as the Unadulterated Food Corp. in 1972, and the name "Snapple" was not a tea, but was adopted from a carbonated apple soda drink that was part of their product line.
